Tractor Trailer Accident on 195 Delays Delivery of Standard Times

A tractor trailer truck carrying Friday's edition of the Standard Times from its Cape Cod printing plant to New Bedford, hit a bridge abutment on Rt. 195 westbound early Friday morning at the Highland Ave overpass.

The unidentified driver was taken to St. Luke's hospital with un specified injuries. The accident is under investigation and there could be a delay in getting the paper.

Update 8:50am - The Standard Times has reported that because of the accidentmost papers won't be delivered on Friday, but you can still get the paper at various stores around the Southcoast.
