Townsquare Sunday: Care Free Homes
Its the third year for the Roof Giveaway contest held by Care Free Homes. Stephanie Pickup joins WBSM's Jim Phillips to talk about the contest which starts in January. Area residents are invited to visit the company's website and enter the names of people they know that might need a new roof on their home, but for whatever reason are unable to afford one this year. Three finalists are selected, and then area residents cast their votes on the website and select a winner.
Care Free Homes works with GAF Roofing, and the United Way of Greater New Bedford and other partners to make the dream come true. Previous winners have lived in Fairhaven and New Bedford.
