Tom Brady Should Be Fined For Sliding into Ed Reed

Getty Images

The New England Patriot’s season has come to an end after an unfortunate AFC championship loss to the Ravens. One of the biggest things that people are talking about after the loss is Tom Brady’s slide where it looked like he put a leg right into Ed Reed, with his spikes on. If you saw the game, you could tell that he left the leg up on purpose.

So when you ask the question ‘should he be fined for the move‘ the answer is yes. If the NFL is going to fine a defensive player for a helmet to helmet hit, or a late hit on a quarterback, then they need to fine Brady for this. If they don’t fine Brady for this, then the league that is so pro player safety needs to take a deeper look into their policies.
