New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady caused a stir today, after he abruptly ended his weekly scheduled radio interview with Boston sports station WEEI's Kirk & Callahan morning show.

Brady cut the call short after the show's host Kirk Minihane repeatedly asked about the reports that came out late last week claiming that Brady's trainer and workout guru Alex Guerrero, who had reportedly had all of his team access stripped late last season, was allowed to accompany the team on their flight to Carolina for their third preseason game on Friday.

Minihane started the dialogue about asking whether or not Guerrero was in fact on the team flight last week. Brady did confirm that his trainer did join the team on the trip to Carolina, but then refused to elaborate as Minihane asked about what had changed from last year to now.

After a few moments of back and forth with Brady trying to get off the topic, he finally ended the call, without an answer to the questions.

Tension between Guerrero, who treats other Patriot stars including Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman along with his top client, Brady, and the team came to a head midway through last season and ultimately ended up with him being banned from all team facilities and from travelling with the team.

Brady's approach to answering the question is questionable, as he has relentlessly sung the praises of Guerrero. It is obvious that he doesn't want to answer questions about the trainer, but it shouldn't be a shock to him that he has been and will be questioned about Guerrero's seemingly expanded role with the team.
