An illegal marijuana operation is busted in Tiverton.

Rhode Island State Police have arrested 24-year-old Joshua Berg and 22-year-old Amanda Ribeiro, both of Tiverton, after searching a commercial building in the town and uncovering a large-scale marijuana growing facility. Multiple law enforcement agencies carried out search warrants Wednesday at the warehouse on Bears Den Road, finding 70 pounds of marijuana, 21 grams of butane honey oil edibles, and 25 mature marijuana plants.

Police say Berg does have a Rhode Island Medical Marijuana Caregiver card, but the investigation revealed he had exceeded the limits set by the state.

Berg and Ribeiro face multiple drug charges.
