An Acushnet man is facing charges following a Tuesday afternoon car crash in Wareham.

Police Chief Kevin Walsh says that at around 4:20 p.m. officers were dispatched to the area of 208 High St. over a report of three cars involved in an accident where one driver fled the scene.

Upon arrival they discovered a vehicle struck two parked and unoccupied vehicles causing extensive damage to all three vehicles.

Witnesses provided a description of the fleeing driver to police.

The driver, identified as 41-year-old Adam Senna, was later found by an officer on Merchant's Way at the rear of Wareham Center.

Walsh says Senna was issued a court summons for leaving the scene of property damage.

No injuries were reported.
