Three Fall River residents are facing weapons charges after being pulled over Tuesday afternoon on Route 24 South in Bridgewater.

State Police say at around 4:30 p.m. a trooper pulled over a vehicle with defective equipment.

The passenger in the back seat ducked out of site during the stop and the trooper called for backup.

A loaded Smith and Wesson .38 caliber revolver was found in the vehicle during an investigation.

The driver, identified as 20-year-old Jenna Scottson, and the two passengers, identified as 25-year-old Steven Rondon and 19-year-old Shaquan Debarrows, were arrested on charges including possession of ammunition without a firearms identification card and unlawful possession of a firearm without a license.

The bail for Debarrows and Rondon was set at $15,000.

The bail for Scottson was set at $500.

All three were held pending arraignment at Brockton District Court.
