Threat Leads To School Cancellation

School was cancelled at Brockton High School on Monday after a threat was made against the building.

The threat was made sometime Monday morning and school officials say they decided that it was in the best interests of all the students and staff to have them away from the building.

Officials say police are taking the threat very seriously.

Whitman-Hanson Regional High School is also closed today. Media reports, including New England Cable News are reporting that the closure was due to a threat, but Whitman Police did not provide official confirmation.
