NSTAR is working hard to restore the power around Southern Massachusetts, where many people are still in the dark.

According to the NSTAR outage map, the most affected areas are the Freetown/Lakeville area, and out towards the Cape. Over 2,000 still without power in Dartmouth, and Westport is also seeing thousands without power.

Governor Deval Patrick got tough on utility workers before Hurricane Sandy hit. Even with dozens of out of state workers to help, it is still going to take some time before everyone is restored, and back to normal.
