No real surprise here. The Massachusetts legislature voted to override Governor Baker's veto of a stipend pay increase for the Legislative leadership, judges, and statewide elected officials. It's bad enough the Governor had to cut the budget. It sucks that our tax dollars fund a legislative session that ends on even years in mid summer. It makes me absolutely crazy that our elected leaders find the time to vote this pay raise, but not to affirm or reject assisted suicide. To say the least, I am mad as hell!
