The Words to Ban This Year

Michigan's Lake Superior State University released its annual "List of Words Banished from the Queen's English for Misuse, Overuse and General Uselessness" today, compiled from submissions sent to the school from English speakers around the world.

The list includes:

selfie
twerk or twerking
hashtag
Twittersphere
Mister Mom
Obamacare
