Jacoby Ellsbury is hopeful he'll be back in the line up for tomorrow's game. He has been sidelined since September 5th with a compression fracture in his right foot.

The Patriots are off today. They head back to the practice field tomorrow to prepare for Sunday night's game in Atlanta. The Pats are 3-0, Atlanta is 1-2.

In Monday Night Football, Bronco's QB Peyton Manning threw three touchdown passes in a 37-21 win over Oakland.

Chris Kelly scored in overtime to lift the Bruins to a 3-2 win over Washington in preseason play.

BOYS SOCCER: ORR beat Seekonk 3-1, Fairhaven over Bourne 3-0, Westport topped Bristol Plymouth 2-1, Case beat Wareham 3-2 and Sacred Heart beat Old Colony 4-0.

FIELD HOCKEY: Westport shutout Case 1-0, Nantucket beat Fairhaven 2-1.

VOLLEYBALL: New Bedford beat Brockton 3-0, Dartmouth over Falmouth 3-0, Case over Wareham 3-0 and Bourne beat Fairhaven 3-0.
