The Red Sox Are in Tampa- WBSM Tuesday Sports (AUDIO)

The Red Sox resume their road trip tonight as they open a three-game series with the Rays in Tampa. Clay Buchholz makes his return from the disabled list after a shoulder injury. The Red Sox lead the Rays by seven-and-a-half games. WBSM pregame time is 6:25pm.

The Patriots are working on a short week. They have their home opener with the New York Jets Thursday night. WBSM pregame time will be 5:30pm.

The Pawtucket Red Sox open the Governor's Cup Finals tonight in Durham.

High school sports:

GIRLS SOCCER: ORR beat Voc Tech 1-0, Fairhaven shut out Wareham 5-0, Apponequet beat Dighton Rehoboth 2-0 and Bishop Stang topped Bristol-Plymouth 6-1.

BOYS SOCCER: New Bedford shut out Nauset 1-0, Apponequet beat Dighton Rehoboth 4-2 and Fairhaven beat Wareham 6-3.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Fairhaven was a straight set winner over Wareham, New Bedford beat Dartmouth 3-1, Apponequet topped Dighton Rehoboth 3-1 and Voc Tech beat ORR 3-0.

FIELD HOCKEY: Fairhaven beat Sturgis 2-0.
