Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino say donations to the One Fund Boston, benefiting victims of the Boston Marathon bombings, have reached $20 million.

Patrick, Menino and the fund's administrator, Kenneth Feinberg, announced details at a news conference on Tuesday. The first payments are expected to be distributed June 30.

Feinberg, an attorney who managed the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund, is helping to create a protocol for distributing the fund.

He said a draft protocol is expected to be ready the week of May 6 with two town hall meetings to be scheduled to provide feedback.

The final protocol and claim forms will be available on the fund's web site by May 15, and people will have a month to register.

Claims will be reviewed by June 30. {Associated Press)
