John Lackey gave up four home runs in the Bronx Saturday as the Yankees beat the Red Sox 7 to 4.

Lackey was asked if you have to be extra careful pitching in Yankees Stadium and said, “You have to be extra careful in this whole division.  I just have to do a better job of keeping the ball in the yard.”

Carlos Beltran, Brian McCann and Alfonso Soriano went go 6-for-9 with four home runs and six RBIs. McCann hitting two homers.

A.J. Pierzynski hit his first home run as a member of the Sox.

The series will conclude tomorrow night in New York with the Red Sox starting Felixs Doubront. It’s the Sunday Night Game of the Week with our coverage beginning at 7:20 p.m. on WBSM.
