“The Donald” Is Running For President

Donald Trump is running for President. The conservative billionaire made it official during a kickoff event in New York City, saying the country is in serious trouble.

Trump is the 12th Republican to enter the 2016 race for the White House. Trump said enemies of America are growing stronger while the U.S. gets weaker.

He called Obamacare a big lie and an expensive disaster. Trump also said the U.S. badly needs a truly great leader.

The 69-year old Trump predicted that he would be a great "jobs President." The outspoken Trump is a hugely successful real estate developer. He announced that he has a total net worth of more than eight billion dollars.

Trump has flirted with presidential runs in prior election cycles. This will be his first actual campaign for the White House. Trump said the 2016 election will be based on competence.
