Terrible Hit-and-Run in Marion

Another horrific hit-and-and-run accident occurred in our area! Police are asking for the public’s help regarding an accident on County Rd. in Marion Sunday afternoon.

A woman and her two dogs were struck by a vehicle that a witness described as a late 1980′s or early 1990′s Toyota or Honda sedan that was seen speeding away from the scene. The seriously hurt woman was airlifted from Tobey to Rhode Island Hospital.

One dog died at the accident site and the other was taken to a veterinarian. Marion Police ask that you call 508-748-1212 if you have any information that can assist them.
