Television Going to the Dogs

Starting in August there will be a new television channel just for dogs.  The BBC is reporting that the new channel will feature programs that will keep your dog's attention, DOGTV uses special coloring in the video and audio that appeals to dogs.  The channel was created to keep your dog entertained while you are away.  Dogs were not able to see standard definition televisons because they had 60 frames per second on the video and dogs can see 75 frames per second and the new hi-def televisons have many more than that.  If you have a dog you probably noticed that they can see images on the hi-def, everytime an animal comes on the tv my dog wants to chase it.  Let's hope that we don't create a new generation of couch potato's!
