it's unclear what action if any was taken by members of the New Bedford Educators Association Friday afternoon during a closed-door meeting with union leaders..

The meeting was a follow-up to a previous meeting in December where members shared concerns about the school administration.

On Friday, Union president Lou St. John declined to say much about a possible vote of no confidence directed at Supt. Dr. Pia Durkin.

St. John said issues discussed in the meeting revolved around teacher evaluations and discipline.  Teachers say they do not feel they are being evaluated fairly and they don't feel they have support of the administration when incidents in the classroom occur.

On Saturday morning, St. John called the Tim Weisberg program on WBSM  and said  action had been taken by the membership, but won't be announced till after another meeting with teachers next week. .
