TSM – Teachers stage candlelight vigil outside Keith Middle School

The New Bedford Educators Association continues to protest staff changes planned for New Bedford High School.  Those changes include replacing 29% of teachers and staff.  Teachers lined up outside Keith Middle School Monday night for a candlelight vigil to protest the dismissal of any teachers. WBSM News asked this teacher whether the protest will change anything…..

The School Committee was expected to ratify negotiated agreements with the teachers union that will change working conditions for teachers and staff at the High School, including extending the school day.
