Taunton Teen Charged in Fatal Hit-and-Run

A Taunton teen is arrested in connection to a fatal hit-and-run in the city last week.

Taunton Police and Massachusetts State Police Detectives with the Bristol County District Attorney's Office arrested 19-year-old Cecily Kilsby-Munafo Sunday, charging her with leaving the scene of an accident with death resulting and misleading police.

Prosecutors allege Kilsby-Munafo was driving a Toyota Venza late Thursday night when it struck a bicyclist, 36-year-old Michael Alfano of Taunton. Alfano was med-flighted to Brigham & Women's Hospital where he died this weekend.

A second person, 26-year-old Ryan O'Day, also of Taunton, was charged with accessory after the fact.

Both Kilsby-Munafo and O'Day are being arraigned Monday in Taunton District Court.
