A man accused of a deadly shooting in Taunton was ordered held without bail on Monday.

Channel 12 says 20-year-old Miguel Marrero was ordered held without bail during his arraignment in taunton district court on murder and illegal firearm charges in connection with the shooting death of 23-year-old Gordon Weekes outside a fifth avenue home Thursday.

Marrero was arrested on Friday in Roxbury by members of the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section. Boston police officers also assisted in the arrest.

Following the shooting Weekes was transferred to Morton Hospital, but died a short time later.
