Taunton Police and investigators from the Bristol County District Attorney's office continue to investigate last week's deadly police shooting.34-year old David Arraiol of Taunton was shot to death after pulling a gun on a police officer Thursday afternoon as police tried to issue an arrest warrant for violating his probation.  Arriaol was arrested in 2-thousand-11 for resisting arrest as a result of a domestic dispute.

The warrant was issued in April after he failed to attend a probation violation hearing. According to police, Arraiol was shot after he ran from police and refused commands to drop his weapon.  He was shot as he crouched between two parked cars and pulled out a gun. The officer who shot Arriaol has been placed on administrative leave for the time being. It's the first fatal police shooting in Taunton since 1988.
