Beginning June 4, beer and wine will be available for purchase at 2016 New Bedford Bay Sox home games after a unanimous vote of support by the New Bedford City Council.

The umpire will be shouting "play ball" soon at New Bedford's Paul White field. What goes better than baseball, hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts and a nice cold one. As a way to attract more fans and additional revenue, the Bay Sox want to sell beer at all home games...
