Let Restaurants Donate Food To Pantries

As a diner owner of 33 years, I've scoffed at the fact that restaurants can't donate perfectly good food to pantries because of the liability involved. It just never made any common sense why a dumpster was fed instead of hungry people!

That all may change if MA legislators pass House Bill 3156, which would allow restaurants to donate unused goods and food to pantries, with limited liability
