New Bedford has purchased new voting tabulation machines, scanners, and voting booths, replacing equipment that is now out of production or is very old.

Low Turnout Expected In Tuesday’s Primary Election

The state's top elections official says signs point to a low voter turnout for the Massachusetts primary election despite contested races for governor and other statewide offices.

Commissioner Hopes Preliminary Election Will Attract Voters

 

New Bedford Election Commissioner Maria Tomasia is hoping for a big turnout in Tuesday's preliminary election, but past history tells her the turnout citywide will be less than 15%.

Deadline To Register For Massachusetts Senate Primary Is Wednesday

Wednesday is the final day for new voters to register if they wish to vote in the April 30th Primary Election for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts.

The election office in New Bedford will be open Wednesday till 8pm to accomodate new voters
