It's not just the Southcoast that is feeling the affects of hurricane Sandy. The entire East Coast is getting hammered, and New Jersey is feeling it the most right now.
The floodgates on West and East Rodney French Blvds in the South End of New Bedford are closing as of 1pm, as a precaution to prevent major flooding north of the gates.
Those of us who can see out of a window can get a pretty good view of what Sandy is bringing us. This view from space is just more proof of just how small people really are.

As predicted, hurricane Sandy has started to pound the Soutchoast. She has reached New Bedford, and now they say it will be hit the hardest in terms of wind and rain.
