We would like to thank everyone who came out this weekend for "Cans Across The Park." The girl scouts, the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, Escape to Fitness, Mayor Mitchell, the Panthers Club, the Park Board and all of the individuals that helped us restock some of the food pantries in the area.

Over 6,000 Cans Donated Through WBSM's Annual Food Drive

It's always a sight to see as WBSM's "Cans Across the Park" food drive lined non-perishable food donations from one end of Buttonwood Park to the other, and nearly all the way back.

Bristol County Donates Goods to New York

22 communities throughout Bristol County are pitching in and donating canned goods, toiletries, and other essentials to benefit storm-ravaged areas of New York.

The tons of supplies are being gathered by the New Bedford Fire Department and stored in Fire Headquarters on Purchase street

WBSM Cans Across The Park Is Saturday

This Saturday is our annual food drive "Cans Across The Park" at Buttonwood Park in New Bedford. For nearly 20 years we have collected food items on the Saturday before Thanksgiving and the need continues to be great.
