Major Increase in Scallop Population Found On Georges Bank

UMass Dartmouth marine scientists, in a video based survey, have found an abundance of small scallops on Georges Bank.

The survey was conducted from May to July 2014. Dr. Kevin Stokesbury says the survey indicates a 32% increase in the scallop population from two years ago
