The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded New Bedford programs more than $2 million in grants to provide assistance and services to people experiencing homelessness.

Catholic Social Services announced that they will be opening their Overflow Shelter at the Sister Rose House at 71 Division St. in New Bedford.
