Koczera Will Vote “No” On Tribal Casino Compact

Rep. Robert Koczera of New Bedford says he'll be voting against the casino compact agreed to by Gov. Patrick and the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe, and he hopes his colleagues will do the same.

A revised casino agreement between Gov. Deval Patrick and the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe is facing tough questions from a legislative committee.
 
    The compact, if approved by lawmakers, would replace an earlier agreement that was rejected by the federal Bureau of Indian Affairs.
