History could be in the making this weekend, with a defensive player and a freshman highlight among this year’s finalists for the Heisman Trophy. The New Bedford Festival Theatre has earned a coveted award for it's most recent production.

The New England Theatre Conference has rated Hairspray as one of the best performances in the Northeast this season, and is bestowing the Festival Theatre with the 50th Moss Hart Memorial Award Grand Trophy.
