Swansea Man Charged In New Bedford Stabbing
A Swansea man is in custody following a stabbing early Friday in New Bedford’s South End.
Police have charged 23 year old Michael Fabiano with stabbing another man during a fight in a second floor apartment at 151 Grinnell Street.
Det. Capt. Steve Vicente tells WBSM News, the victim was stabbed multiple times and is now listed in stable condition at Rhode Island Hospital.
Fabiano was picked up late Friday morning at his girlfriend’s apartment on McCabe Street in Dartmouth. He’s facing charges of armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.
