Sutter Hopes For Trial Date In Hernandez Case

Bristol County District Attorney Sam Sutter spoke generally about the Aaron Hernandez murder case during an appearance Tuesday on WBSM.

The former Patriot has been charged with murder in the death of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd earlier this year in North Attleboro.

Sutter said the case returns to court for a pre-trial hearing on December 13th.  He says a trial date could be set at that time.....

Sutter says the trial will happen sometime in 2014.  The District Attorney says the volume of the press coverage in the Hernandez case is unlike any he's ever experienced.

Asked if there was more pressure in the Hernandez case, Sutter said there is pressure to not say the wrong things to the press when he's interviewed after court hearings.
