The superintendent of Somerset schools sent out an urgent call to parents this morning regarding what appeared to be a potential abduction of a high school student from a bus stop in Somerset.

11:30 a.m. - 

Somerset Police Department has released additional information on this morning's incident involving a suspicious male in a tan Toyota Camry and a high school student. According to the witness' report,  a man approached her asking if she needed a ride. When she declined, he got back in his car and drove off and she reports not feeling threatened by the man. 8:45 a.m.. - The suspect reportedly was in his 30's and operating a tan Toyota Camry. Further reports issued by the Somerset Police Department state that the incident is no longer considered an attempted abduction but instead a "suspicious person".
