The man suspected of flashing numerous women on Gooseberry Island in Westport has been arrested.

Last week police began circulating the photo of a man who had reportedly exposed himself to a teenage girl on Gooseberry Island on May 12th and soon had over 50,000 views on Facebook.

And those views have helped lead to an arrest.

NBC 10 reports that Andrew Butler was taken into custody in his home in East Providence and is awaiting arraignment as a fugitive in Providence District Court.

He will then be returned to Massachusetts where he will face open and gross lewdness charges in Westport.

Police say at least 13 woman have come forward as victims of the alleged flasher. The latest victim was able to get the photo that police used to identify Butler.
