Suspect Sought in New Bedford Break-In

New Bedford Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect that may have been involved in a house-break.

Detective Captain Steve Vicente says somebody broke into a home at the 700 block of Coggeshall Street last Thursday, ransacked the home and made off with jewelry.

The home belongs to an elderly person who was not home at the time of the break-in.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set white male who wore a green t-shirt, jeans, and black sneakers.
