Police in Edmonton, Alberta are investigating a killing spree that left nine people dead, including two children. The suspect is among the victims.

Edmonton Police Chief Ron Knecht said hours before the killings last night, officers went to a home after getting a call about a man acting suicidal. When police returned about four hours later, they found seven bodies.

The dead at one crime scene include three women, two men and two children.

Police said hours before, officers responded to a call of shots fired at a home and found a dead woman.

This morning, police found the suspect at a Vietnamese restaurant and that he had committed suicide.  (Metro Network Inc.)
