Suspect Charged In Slaying Of Raymond Sanchez

A 17 year old New Bedford man is charged with murder in the October 9th stabbing death of 21 year old Raymond Sanchez.

The District Attorney's office says Andre Gage will be charged as an adult, and faces arraignment Friday afternoon in New Bedford District Court.

Prosecutors say both Gage and Sanchez were fighting outside an apartment on Liberty Street, when Sanchez was fatally stabbed.

According to Channel 10, neighbors say Sanchez was in the neighborhood, visiting the mother of his child.
