Man Driving with Suspended License Arrested by New Bedford Police

A New Bedford man who was out on bail for a May 26th accident that claimed a life was arrested last night by New Bedford Police. 23 year old Manuel Rebeiro of Pleasant Street was observed by police operating a vehicle on County Street after his license was suspended due to the fatal accident that occurred at the corner of Russell and Purchase Street that claimed the life of 18 year old Juan Gonalez.

Rebeiro faces arraignment in district court on an additional charge of operating after license suspension.
