Superman’s Jimmy Olsen Dies At 87

The actor who played Jimmy Olsen on the 1950's TV show "The Adventures of Superman" has died.

Jack Larson passed away Sunday at his home in Brentwood, California.  He was 87.

Larson played the young reporter at "The Daily Planet" and was a sidekick to Clark Kent.

When the series ended in 1958, Larson realized he was typecast and gave up acting.  He then became a successful playwright.
