Move-in day saws dozens of orange bins lined up outside residential housing areas, filled with personal items like computers, clothing, and the like. Nicole Pizzi of Milton went to work for a year after high school. She feels she's ready for the college experience, and UMass Dartmouth seems like the right place.

Nicole's mom, Janet Waters says she'll miss her daughter, but knows she's not too far away.

UMass Dartmouth will see about 9,500 students on campus this year, about 4,500 living in residential housing on campus.
