A 15-year-old student of Colorado's Arapahoe High School is clinging to life after being shot there today.  Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said she's in critical condition.  Another student suffered a less serious wound and has been released from the hospital.

Robinson says the gunman, who was identified only as a student at the school, was found dead at the scene of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.   Robinson also praised a teacher who was targeted by the shooter with making the best decision possible in leaving the building.

Colorado's governor is calling today's shooting at a high school near Denver an "unspeakable horror."   Governor John Hickenlooper says no child or family should have to endure such an event.   Hickenlooper said the state's thoughts and prayers are with the Arapahoe High School community.
