A student at Bridgewater State University has been arrested on a charge of rape.

According to The Brockton Enterprise, 20-year-old Musa Sandi of Milton was arrested over the weekend by campus police.

Sandi lives on campus, and the alleged rape happened in a campus residence hall, says a university spokesperson.

The alleged victim filed an anonymous report of the sexual assault on Friday, and then reported the assault to police on Saturday. It's not clear when the alleged rape took place.

The victim also told police Sandi tried to intimidate her the day after the alleged assault happened.

Sandi was held without bail and has been arraigned on charges of raping a female and intimidation of a witness in Brockton District Court.
