Strong Winds Spread Fire to Freetown Home

A house fire in Freetown is under investigation.

The Freetown Police Department via Facebook says a fire broke out in a shed at 65 Flagg Swamp Road in Freetown, and due to increased winds, spread to the garage and the attached house.

The fire was reported just after 1pm Friday afternoon, with mutual aid from the Berkley, Dartmouth, Lakeville, and Rochester Fire Eepartments also responding to the scene.

The fire is under investigation by the Freetown Fire Department.
