Are we suggesting now that Donald Trump should be tarred and feather because he once thought about building a building in Russia while he was a private citizen?

My God, you'd think he was running guns to Mexico or selling uranium to Putin or something.

The latest revelation as we know it is that private citizen real estate developer Donald Trump considered a proposal to construct a building in Russia, but at some point in 2016 while he was a candidate for President decided it wasn't such a good investment, and the proposal was dropped.

All legal. All ethical. Unless, of course, you can show me where it is not.

NBC and I think the Boston Globe reported that Trump thought about offering Putin a pad in the proposed Russian Trump Tower as a way of attracting Russian oligarchs to invest.

But he didn't.

End of story.
