It's no real surprise. The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court has ruled that a citizens initiative to legalize, tax and regulate marijuana like alcohol is a valid question, and with a minor tweak can be placed on the November ballot for voters to decide its fate.

The Director of Communications for the Campaign to Legalize appeared on Brian's Beat, and explained the court's change. Jim Borghesani says if the voters say yes, it may be awhile before full legalization takes hold.
