State Officials Dispute Mountain Lion Claim

State wildlife experts dispute a police claim of a mountain lion in Winchester. Police reported yesterday there had been a second sighting about ten days after the first.

However, a spokeswoman for the Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game says feedback from out-of-state experts supports the belief that the tracks were made by a coyote or a dog.
