The state is making more than $13 million available to shore up crumbling seawalls and dams.

Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs Maeve Vallely Bartlett announced the grants and loans on Tuesday in Scituate, which will receive $4 million to shore up the Oceanside Drive Seawall, which has been prone to damage in previous storms.

About $4 million will also be dedicated to repairs of the Foster Avenue Seawall in Marshfield, and more than $1.3 million will go to help shore up the Easy Street Bulkhead on the island of Nantucket.

Among several dams that will receive $1 million each in funding for rehabilitation are the Hoppin Hill Reservoir Dam in Attleboro, the Bound Brook Dam in Cohasset, and the Morse Reservoir Dam in Leominster.
