Star Kids Makes a Difference in Lives of Local Children

New Bedford Star Kids is one of my favorite non-profits that gives "high-risk, low income children an opportunity to a better educational opportunity."

These children have a parent or parents in prison or involved with drugs. This organization offers a paid scholarship for local children in order to break the intergenerational cycle of substance use! Star Kids gives kids and their families hope that they can excel and make dreams come true.
